Turris Omnia 4G is further equipped with an LTE Cat6 modem offering download speeds up to 300 Mb/s and upload speeds up to 50 Mb/s.

Expandability
The Omnia device can run a custom Linux distribution via eMMC, avoiding RAM load. Omnia can also be expanded with Wi-Fi thanks to 2x mini PCIe slots, one of which can also function as mSATA. There are also 2x USB 3.0 ports available, offering the possibility of additional storage limited only by the capacity of the USB drive.
Open software
Omnia runs an operating system based on OpenWrt. Thanks to extensive documentation, regular updates, and active development, the software can be modified as needed.
Automatic Updates
Unlike most other routers, Turris Omnia receives automatic system updates throughout its entire lifetime. This way, your household remains protected even against emerging cyber threats.
Distributed Adaptive Firewall
All devices with an active Sentinel firewall worldwide log and respond in real time to attacks on any device. After evaluating a threat, within 2 minutes they send an update to other devices, which then recognize the attacker as a threat and prevent it from compromising, attacking, or overwhelming the system.
Easy Configuration with Snapshots and USB Flashing
The snapshots feature allows you to run a new configuration “in test mode” and easily roll back to the previously saved one. Configuration uploaded via USB, on the other hand, enables simple field deployment and remote fine-tuning from the comfort of your office or home.
